“When you compromise and you fail, it hurts even more”
“When you compromise and you fail, it hurts even more” – Jim Carrey
The point of this story comes from his father who wanted more for himself musically but signed up to be an accountant because he had a family to tend to and he couldn’t take the risk.
He ended up getting fired from the job that he didn’t even like at age 51. Leaving him even more bitter.
That’s where the quote comes from.
His dad *compromised* himself and his dream for what he thought was the ‘right’ thing to do. And then he STILL failed (in his own opinion).
So then the question bears to be asked …
…. would you choose to go after your own dream and (possibly) fail or;
… would you NOT go after your dream and (possibly) fail anyway?
Which one will *compromise* you more?
– Your soul is asking.
